A Board Member of Accra Hearts of Oak Frank Nelson Nwonkolo has told Starr Sports the club has decided to accept the reduced verdict by the Ghana FA Appeals Committee.

The management of Hearts had appealed to a three Premier League home games behind closed doors and a fine of GHC 12,000.

But on Tuesday the Appeals Committee had reduced the decision to two home games with the GHC 12,000 being upheld.

“There is nothing we can do now, we were expecting a favorable decision but as football people we need to accept the verdict and learn from our mistakes especially our supporters.

"They should now know that these acts affect the club financially. This will prevent such acts in future”, he told Starr Sports.

Hearts will begin to serve the punishment on Wednesday when they host Sekondi Hasaacas and will follow with the hosting of regional rivals Liberty Professionals the following Wednesday.
