Hearts striker Senyo in Israeli trials

Accra Hearts of Oak striker Reuben Senyo arrived in Israel on Thursday to begin trials with local side Maccabi Netanya.

The Black Meteors player will spend two weeks with the club before his future is decided.

Senyo has been impressive since joining Hearts of Oak three seasons ago but failed to establish himself as a regular for Ghana's U-23 side.

He struggled with the Black Metoers because of the presence of much more experienced strikers Asamoah Gyan and Prince Tagoe.

The Netanya side are always happy with the arrival of Ghanaian players after Ishmael Addo, Razak Ibrahim and Lukman Moro were impressive during their stay at the club.

Former Hearts striker Samad Okocha is the current favourite of fans of the club.
