Hearts set to sign Theophilus Awortwe from Hasaacas

Accra Hearts of Oka are on the verge of making their second official signing as the club is inches away from the signature of Hasaacas midfielder Theophilus Awortwe, reports in the local media have suggested.

Sources close to the Accra club have revealed that serious talks with, Giants of the West, Sekondi Hasaacas over an eminent move for the midfielder Theophilus Awortwe have reached deep with the player set to move to Accra soon.

Awortwe’s contract with the Green and Whites will expire in a few months and is keen to join the Oak family.

The talented and skillful attacking midfielder had a short stint with Mauritanian Ligue 1 club Asc Zem Zem and has been in the country for the past four months.

He was unable to rejoin his mother club in the later part of the Ghana Premier League season due a delay in the arrival of his International Transfer Certificate.
