Hearts postpone pre-season camping

Hearts of Oak have postponed their residential pre-season camping to Thursday at a yet-to-be named location.

The Phobians were scheduled to begin camping on Monday but had to alter their plans.

Head coach CK Akunnor has asked for more time to assess some of the new players who are yet to be registered by the club.

"Yes it is rather unfortunate that we did not leave as we planned on Monday but I believe that what is happening is in the best interest of the entire team," a member of the club's technical team told the Hearts News.

"As the technical team, we want to make sure that all the players we take to camping are of good quality."

Hearts have line-up friendly matches against two second-tier sides on Tuesday and Wednesday.
