Hearts play Nania FC on Thursday

Premier league side, Accra Hearts of Oak would on Thursday, February 26, test their strength against Division Two side, Nania FC in a friendly football match at the Accra Sports Stadium. The two sides will use the match to test their preparations for their respective competitive assignments.

Hearts who are scheduled to play city rivals, Accra Great Olympics in a Challenge Cup match at the same venue on Sunday will have the opportunity of using the occasion to sharpen their rough edges.

The Phobians will again use the match to advertise the team to the newly signed on German coach, Ernst Middendorp who is to take charge of the technical directions of the team in the coming football season. Hearts are also scheduled to travel to Mali next week to play Stade Malien of Mali in the first leg of the preliminaries of the CAF Champions League.

Nania on the other hand are billed to travel to Europe in May and will also use the occasion as a preparatory ground for the training tour. A flat rate of 5000 cedis will be charged at the gates.
