The management of Accra Hearts of Oak are planning to embark on a nationwide tour as part of its preseason activities.

According Sportscrusader.com sources close to the club, preparations are at advanced stage and within the next couple of days, the entire playing body together with its technical team will begin that long journey of touring the country.

As part of the tour the team will play several friendly matches with some clubs in each region they visit, so as to give the fans a sneak preview of what to expect when the football season proper commences.

The source mentioned that the team will play not less than 20 friendly matches whilst on the tour and will only return to Accra when confirmation date of the nest football season is announced by the Ghana Football Association.

According to him, the team is expected to start from the Central Region and continue to the other parts of the country.

A member of the technical team who spoke to sportscrusader.com on Friday, confirmed the news adding that they are still planning on the departure date.

“You know things like these have lots of work to be done and that is what we are doing now. Where we sleep, where we go, at what time, the number of matches to play in each region is some of the questions we want to answer before embarking on that journey across the country”.
