Hearts part ways with Egyptian trainer

Accra, Jan 7, GNA - The management Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club has affirmed the mutual termination of the relationship with its Egyptian head coach Ayman Alymany Elymany with immediate effect.

It was agreed that financial commitments payable to the coach should be limited to only three months outstanding salaries and compensation but Hearts were said to have promptly settled the coach's salary arrears.

A statement issued and signed by Ashford Tettey-Oku, Administrative Manager of Hearts copied to GNA Sports said the decision follows a meeting attended by the Club's Board Chairman, Mr E.M. Commodore Mensah, Chairman of the Interim Management Committee (IMC), Nii Ayi Bonte II, vice chairman Frank Nelson and the coach.

It said Hearts on mutual grounds have agreed on schedule payment of the compensation.

Coach Alymany was said to have praised the maturity of Hearts and added that he never regretted for his brief association with the Club and said the Club should not hesitate to contact him for any assistance in other areas and and when needed.

The coach is expected to hand over all properties of the Club in his possession before he departs to Egypt on Tuesday, January 12, 2010.
