Accra Hearts of Oak in a bid to avoid relegation in the ongoing Ghana Premier League have hired a Turkish coach, whose name is yet to come out to assist them in the remaining 5 league games

Hearts of Oak are lying 15 in the 16-club First Capital Plus Premier League, with 5 matches to spare. The worries of the Phobians were deepened by their bitterest rivals, Asante Kotoko, when they handed them a 2-1 defeat in Accra on Sunday.

Eddie Ansah, the stop-gap coach is finding it tough to bring the team back to winning ways, losing 4 and winning 1 of their 5 games under his guide; 4 league games and 1 Elite Cup game, since replacing Herbert Addo who was sacked by the club.

The Managing Director of Hearts of Oak Gerald Ankrah has disclosed that a Turkish Coach will be on the bench of the team on Wednesday against Liberty Professionals at the Carl Reindorf Park, Dansoman on match day 26.

“We have hired a Turkish coach to assist Edward Ansah over the next 5 games. He is expected to be on the bench against Liberty Professionals. The name of the Coach will be made public in a press release,” he told Allsports.com.gh
