Hearts goalie Soulama gets Burkina Faso call-up

Goalkeeper Abdoulaye Soulama is the second Hearts of Oak player to be called up for this month’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier after an invitation from Burkina Faso.

He is among the 25 players called up by head coach Paulo Duarte for their back-to-back games against Uganda.

The first leg will be played at the Stade du 4 Aout in Ouagadougou on March 26 before the return leg in Kampala three days ago.

The 33-year-old has been a senior international since 2010.

Soulama was first choice goalkeeper at the 2013 Cup of Nations in South Africa but a red card in the group stage demoted him.
