Hearts congratulates Thompson on elevation

Accra, Aug 9, GNA - Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club Limited has congratulated its Board Secretary, Mr Ernest Thompson for his elevation to the position of General Manager of Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT).

"We read of your elevation to the position of General Manager of SSNIT with great joy, happiness and pride".

A statement signed by Mr E.M. Commodore-Mensah, Chairman of the Board of Directors copied to the GNA Sports on Thursday said. It said that management was not surprised at the appointment since Mr Thompson has demonstrated hard-driving personality, determination, keen focus, very strong methodological and analytical approach to work over the long years he had been with the Club.

Mr Commodore-Mensah said "On behalf of the Board, Management and General Membership, accept our warmest congratulations and best wishes. It is our hope that the Club would continue to benefit from your selfless services in the days ahead".

Mr Thompson is a product of the Ghana Law School and holds masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Wales. He also attended Cardif Business School in the United Kingdom (UK) and specialised in Finance and investment law from the Western University of Chicago, School of Law in the United States of America (USA).

Mr Thompson who was one time a Management member of the Ghana Football Association will is to head the legal division, known as General Counsel Division of SSNIT
