Hearts can be more vintage - David Duncan

Hearts of Oak coach David Duncan says his team can be more vintage despite an impressive 3-1 win over Berekum Arsenals on Sunday.

The Phobians continued with their resurgence in the Ghanaian top flight as they remain unbeaten at the start of the second round of the season.

Hearts were extremely poor in the first round and were staring relegation in the face.

Bugt two wins and a draw in the last three games have seen confidence in the team and amongst its supporters gradually rise again.

And despite an impressive display at the Accra Sports Stadium which yielded three goals, coach Duncan is not satisfied with the team’s output per his own high standards.

“By my standards there is still a lot of work to be done,” he said.

“We are talking about efficiency despite winning by a two goal margin which has not happened for a while.

“I still think it wasn’t a vintage performance for instance the running off the ball.

“This is a major minus in our game which we hope to resolve very quickly.”

Hearts’ resurgence will face a sterner test as they travel to face former champions Aduana Stars in their next game.
