Hearts announce rates for titanic encounter with Kotoko

Accra, Jan 27, GNA - The Management of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club has released the rates for their titanic third round match with Kumasi Asante Kotoko of the on - going Coca-Coal Top 4 tournament scheduled for the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

A statement signed by Mr Ashford Tettey Oku, Administrative Manger of the club and copied to the GNA Sports informed fans that the gate fees would come with raffle coupons to give the teeming fans the chance to win some spot prizes including electrical appliances.

The statement commended fans of Hearts so far for their encouraging turnout and their impressive comportment in the two matches played. so far.

It said "there is no doubt that the decision to play in the Coca-Cola Top Four competition will yield the desired effect as the team would be properly conditioned for the domestic and continental competitions".

The statement said with the continuous support and cooperation shown so far, the "Phobian Spirit" which appeared to have been lost during the last season will definitely return to help reclaim all that was lost last season.

The rates are the VIP, - 150,000 cedis, Wings - 100,000 cedis, Upper Terrace - 60,000 cedis, Osu (North and South Stands) - 30,000 cedis and Popular Stands 20,000.

In a related development, the management of Hearts said it was inviting the 16 players of the club who were put on the transfer list at the end of last season to a meeting on Monday February 2 at the clubs secretariat at 6PM.

The players are Joe Ansah, Kenneth Sarpong, Charles Allotey, William Gbedzeke, Ibrahim Kluvi, Edmund Copson, Agyman Duah, Adwudu Adama, Philip Kutsu and Laud Quartey.

Others are Emmanuel Donkor, Richard Nii Noi, Stephen Tetteh, Osumanu Amadu, Azumah Nelson and David Kudah.
