Hearts To Miss Laryea Kingston

Hearts boss, Stephen Frail, admits that the loss of Laryea Kingston to the African Cup of Nations in Ghana for six weeks will be a big blow.

Kingston will join the Blackstars squad for a two week preparation period ahead of the African finals which are due to kick off on January 20. The Blackstars midfielder is an integral part of the Hearts team providing great service from the right hand-side and was instrumental in a beautifully well worked

opening goal in the 4-2 victory against Falkirk last weekend. Frail said: "Six weeks is a killer. We knew this would be the case when he came to the club because of the quality he's got but you lose them for these big tournaments. "Especially now when you see the balance we have with him and Andrew Driver on the sides." Frail can call on Lithuanians Saulius Mikoliunas and Deividas Cesnauskis who are returning from injury.

Kingston is due to miss four SPL games but should be available for the trip to Celtic in February.
