Hearts - Kotoko President Cup clash fetched GHC100,000

President of the Ghana League Clubs Association Kudjoe Fianoo says his outfit were able to rake a little over GHC100,000 in the President Cup match between Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak.

The former Ashanti Gold CEO is impressed with the amount scooped from the gates proceeds despite their challenges.

This could go down as one of the highest gates proceeds in GHALCA organized games.

“We had a little over GHC100,000 gate proceeds from the President's cup- GHALCA Chairman,” he told Starr FM.

“The organization of the President's Cup was 55% successful. But we are impressed.”

Kotoko defeated Hearts of Oak 3-2 on penalties to win this year’s President Cup.
