Hearts Clash With Oly On Sunday

Defending league champions, Accra Hearts of Oak, clash with city rivals Olympics in the top liner of the third week fixtures of the Premier League matches on Sunday.

Hearts top the two-week old non-sponsored league on six points followed by Oly on four points setting a stage for a big showdown between the two traditional rival clubs.

According to the fixtures released by the Professional League Board (PLB), Fabulous Kumasi Asante Kotoko who registered a remarkable 3-3 drawn game against Santos of South Africa in the CAF Cup competition have a crunch encounter against Obuasi Goldfields at the Len Clay Sports Stadium.

Dansoman-based Liberty Professional lock horns with back-to-batan Power F/C at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday, neophytes MineStars versus Dawu at Prestea while Real Tamale United welcome Tano Bofoakwa.

Other encounters slated for Sunday are: Suhum Maxbees play host to soccer mountaineers Okwawu United at Koforidua, soccer apostles B.A. United meet with Arsenals while Sekondi Hasaacas trek to Kumasi as guest of King Faisal.
