Hearts Chapters Committee prepare for take over

Accra, Feb 27, GNA - The National Chapters Committee (NCC) of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club has formed a transitional team to oversee the handing over and inauguration ceremony of a new executive body for the committee.

The transitional team is to be co-chaired by Messrs Ato Quagraine, former chairman of the NCC and Neil Armstrong Mortagbe, the chairman elect.

The team is comprised of members from both the out-going as well as in-coming Committees.

A Press Release jointly signed by Messrs Quagraine and Mortagbe copied to the GNA Sports stated that the committee is to pave the way for the handing over of power from the previous administration to the newly elected one.

They said the team is also to foresee a peaceful transition and ensure that the inaugural ceremony of the in-coming executive board of the NCC comes on in due course at a conducive date to be decided by the NCC.

The statement appealed to its teeming supporters to expect the new date for the inauguration and to ensure that there is a smooth and fitting transitional arrangements for the u7ltimate mutual benefit of Hearts and its followers.
