Hearts Calls On Fa To Assist For The Release Of Caf Funds

African Super Cup champions, Accra Hearts of Oak have appealed to the Ghana Football Association to impress upon CAF to release all monies due them for participating in last years Champions League.

According to a statement signed by Administrative manager, Ashford Oku, the timely release of the funds will help them settle all expenses incurred during the competition and also prepare towards their impending international assignments.

The club said aside of $150,000 CAF paid them for qualifying for the league stage of the Champions League, five other payments are outstanding.

These include payment for the 17 goals scored during the league stage, remittance for six matches won and two draws, prize money for topping their group and the prize money for winning the CAF Champions League.

Also outstanding is the financial reward for winning the CAF Super Cup.
