Health administrators beat accountants

Koforidua, Jan. 14, GNA - Health administrators of the Eastern Region on Friday demonstrated their football talent when they beat their accounting counterparts 2-1 in a friendly soccer match played at the Koforidua Police Park.

The match forms part of a series of games planned by the Regional Health Service Administration to mark their Health Week celebrations. The first goal of the match was scored in the 20th minute by the administrators with the accountants quickly finding the equalizer in the 30th minute

The Administrators however surprised the Accountants when they scored the second goal in the 70th minute to bring the exciting encounter to an end.

Earlier, the Chairman of the Regional Health Service Administrators Association, Mr Duah Oyinka said the match forms part of activities lined up by the Association as part of their maiden celebration of the Health Service Administrators Week. Mr Oyiuka said other sporting activities to include tug-of-war and other sporting events will be organised with other professionals within the Service.
