Hasaacas have ruled out selling trio – Samuel Afful, Daniel Egyin and Amos Korankye to Medeama.

Medeama have long been linked with a move for the three talented players ahead of their participation in the CAF Confederation Cup next year.

The Mauve and Yellows have been on the trail of striker Samuel Afful in particular with the club holding initial talks with the player’s representative.

Hasaacas have been reluctant to release the players despite struggling to hold onto their services due to lack of funds.

Medeama administrative manager Benjamin Kesse has confirmed his outfit has lost the fight to sign the players.

“We attempted to sign those players but Hasaacas have told us in plain language they are not for sale,” he said

“They are good players and we believe they could help us in Africa next year.

“But it appears they are not interested in selling them and so we are no more interested.”

Medeama have stepped up preparations ahead of the start of the new season at their base in Tarkwa.
