Hasaacas beat Vipers by a lone goal

Sekondi, Feb. 1, GNA - An own goal scored by Eric Owusu enabled Sekond= i Hasaacas to beat Cape Coast Venomous Vipers 1-0 in their Division One Leagu= e match played at Sekondi at the week-end.

After a goalless first half, Vipers matched their opponents boot for boot until the 75th minute when Owusu in an attempt to clear the ball from his goal area rather deflected the ball into his own net. Results of other matches were Winneba Windy Professionals beat Sekondi Dolphines 2-0, Sekondi Eleven Wise also beat city neighbours, Sekondi Metro 2-0, with Tarkwa United having the edge over Wassaman with a 2-1 victory.
