Grusah unaware of Yahaya departure

Bank-roller of Glo Premier League side King Faisal, Alhaji Grusah, says he is yet to be informed about head coach Mallam Yahaya’s departure.

The former Ghana international who took temporal charge of the Kumasi-based Premier League side last November will reportedly leave on Wednesday to Germany to attend to personal issues.

Meanwhile King Faisal will travel north to face relegation-bound Real Tamale United at the Tamale Sports Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.

While Yahaya will be checking in at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra, his side would be in action in search of a second straight win in Tamale.

Though Faisal owner Alhaji Grusah claims no knowledge of his departure, he insists there are others to do the job.

“I’ve also been hearing that he (Mallam Yahaya) might be leaving but I’m not aware because he has not told me,” he told Accra-based Happy FM.

“But if he leaves, there will be others (Samuel Owusu) will do the job for us", he added.

Faisal are 13th on the Glo Premier League table with 21 points from 18 games.
