Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Ade Coker, Hearts of Oak and Ghapoha FC may soon find themselves in a legal battle with Olympics as a writ filed by Olympics at the High Court is to restrain the clubs from using players signed-on without their express consent and approval.

The clubs former boss, Joseph Ade Coker, Hearts of Oak and Ghapoha FC are jointly sued.

With Hearts of Oak, the player in contention is Philip Kutsu, while Ghapoha FC ‘s problem has to do with Tahiru Brimah.

The writ filed by Davies and Davis an Accra legal firm also seeks perpetual injunction against Kotoko and the other accused from registering and using the services of the players in the Star premier league.

According to Olympics’ statement of claim when Ade Coker was removed from office the said players had not been transferred. It said without the knowledge, consent and or authority of the Olympics management committee or the Board of Directors, Ade Coker transferred the said players. Olympics are thus seeking the above-mentioned reliefs because they can confirm that Ade Coker knew that having been removed from office, he had no mandate to effect any transfers.
