  • Derek Asamoah the striker of Shrewsbury (English League 2) is on trial French club Nice.

  • 29.07.07: Udinese pair Gyan Asamoah and Antonio Di Natale are being linked with AC Milan. Milan management, eager to boost coach Carlo Ancelotti's attacking options, are weighing up making a £12 million offer for the pair.

  • 26.07.2007: Manzini Wanderers of Swaziland have signed Ghanaian-born midfielder-cum striker Essien Prince Bonniy.

  • FC Zurich (Switzerland) is still interested in Anthony Obodai an official bid is on its way.

  • Al Nassr (Saudi Arabia) have shown interest in Yakubu Abubakari (Vitesse)

  • Yusif Chipsah is on trials with Randers FC in Denmark

  • German divison two side, TSG Hoffenheim, refused to sign Kweku Essien after just one day of trials. Prior to this, Bundesliga side, Hertha BSC ditched the midfielder, voted MVP in the Ghana local league, after two weeks of trials.

  • 23.07.2007: DUNDEE United have swooped for former Ajax youngster Prince Bauben. The 19-year-old Ghana midfielder has signed a three-year deal.

  • 22.07.2007: West Ham United are facing competition to sign Stephen Appiah who is valued at £5 million. Fenerbahce's midfielder will apparently snub a move to West Ham as he is holding out for a dream switch to Arsenal (News of the World). Whilst some would think that Arsenal are pretty much sorted in the role that the excellent Appiah would normally fill, Arsene Wenger might make an exception.

  • Charles "CK" Akonnor, former captain of the black stars has signed for the Cypriot football club Alki Larnaca from Dannish side AC Horsens

  • Daniel Addo is at Cyprus club AEL Limassol

  • Emmanuel Pappoe has signed for Cyprus club AEK Larnaca FC from Hapoel Kfar Saba

  • Ex-international Christian Gyan is on trials with Swedish side Helsingborg. His contract with Dutch side Excelsior has expired.

  • Unconfirmed reports indicate that William Tierro has signed a 3 years contract with Académica of Portugal. In the last 2 years, he has been in Portugal but couldn't sign deals with Naval and Guimaraes becos of a FIFA suspension for signing for two clubs some time ago

  • 15.07.200: Hamburger SV show interest in Kwaku Essien. The midfielder from FC Maamobi (currently loaned out to King Faisal) has shortly been on trials with Hertha BSC but could not convince the Hertha officials. Right now, Hamburger SV and TSG Hoffenheim are both vying for the signature of the player.

  • July 9, 2007: Real Mallorca are moving for Leicester City's Ghana striker Elvis Hammond. Despite Hammond's inconsistent season in the Championship last term, Mallorca are willing to offer £1 million for the ex-Fulham trainee. He moved from Fulham two seasons ago.

  • July 8, 2007: Lloyd Owusu is back in the game following his release by Brentford. The 30-year-old Ghana international was deemed not good enough for the League Two Bees but he has answered his crtics by stepping up a division and signing for League One side Yeovil.

  • Ghana midfielder Awuley Quaye ‘Junior’ left Egyptian club Zamalek following the expiration of his contract.

  • July 3, 2007:Opoku Agyemang and Sadick Adams have joined Tunisian side Club African.

  • Ibrahim Salou (28') wants to leave FC Brügge despite being contracted with them until 2010. There are rumours that he may move to RC Lens. Salou would also have possibilities to play in England.   • In an attempt to force his way out from RKC Waalwijk, Anthony Obodai has refused to train with the relegated Dutch side. Obodai, who signed a 4-year contract with RKC in January, has been linked to Swiss champions FC Zürich.

  • Saudi side, al ittahad, want to sign Asamoah Gyan from Udinese

  • Kwadjwo Poku is not expected to get a deal with German side Frankfurt. Tony Yeboah proposed the clubless striker

  • (Peace FM) Kweku Essien has signed for German side Hertha Berlin

  • Portsmouth are being linked with Club Brugge striker Salou Ibrahim. The 27 year-old is weighing up his future in Belgium and along with Pompey has also received interest from Southampton.

  • (Daily Mirror) WEST HAM are leading the chase for £5 million rated Stephen Appiah from Turkish giants Fenerbahce. The 26-year-old Ghana captain, who has two years left on his contract, came close to joining Arsenal last summer. Now Hammers boss Alan Curbishley is ready to swoop for the former Juventus star in order to add Appiah to his new-look midfield.

  • Richard Kingson will join Birmingham on a free transfer from Swedish side Hammarby and sign a two-year deal subject to a work permit application

  • 02.07: Ahmed Barusso is poised to join Roma from Rimini today.

  • Birmingham are ready to end former Arsenal striker Quincy Owusu-Abeyie's premiership exile. Owusu-Abeyie, 21, never made the grade with the Gunners and was sold to Spartak Moscow for £1.45m in the last transfer window. However, the Ghana international, who played Under-21 international football for Holland, could be set to end his stay in the Russian capital in order to return to the top flight.
