Godfred Donsah set for Bologna medical today

Reports say that Bologna have agreed a €7m deal for Cagliari’s Godfred Donsah, who will undergo a medical today.

The midfielder has reportedly been the subject of interest from the likes of Napoli, Juventus, Fiorentina and Chelsea this summer, but the Rossoblu appear to have come out on top.

Sport Mediaset has reported that a deal has been finalised for his €7m switch, with 25% of the fee for a future sale also going to Cagliari.

Donsah is expected to undergo a series of medical tests with the newly-promoted Serie A side today before signing a contract.

The 19 year old Ghanaian whizzkid made the headlines via his impressive box-to-box displays for Cagliari in Serie A last season and earned rave reviews despite the relegation of his side.

Now he could get another chance in the Italian top flight should he seal the deal with Bologna who have just regained promotion back to Serie A.
