Go all out for the ultimate trophy - Rev. Minister

Accra, Sept. 4, GNA - Reverend Dr Lawrence Tetteh, President of the Worldwide Miracle Outreach (UK) has urged the National Under 17 team, the Black Starlets to go all out to clinch the trophy at the ongoing U-17 World Cup Tournament in South Korea.

Rev Tetteh told GNA Sports that "the performance of our boys are very encouraging and if they remain committed just as they did in their game against Brazil, they will win the trophy."

He urged the team to do away with every trace of complacency and play as a unit in search of the trophy, which Ghana won twice in the early 90's.

The Starlets play Spain at the semi-finals on Wednesday in a game that could give Ghana a first final berth in 12 years.

The "Twinkle-Twinkle Little Stars" could set up an all-African final with Nigeria with victory over the Spaniards. The Nigerians will cross swords against Germany in the other semis on Thursday. 04 Sept. 07
