"Go all out, Stars" - Dalex

Accra, Oct 9, GNA - Dalex Finance and Leasing Company limited, a leading non bank financial institution has called on the members of the senior national team, the Black Stars to go all out on Saturday, as they take on their counterparts from Lesotho in the final match of the first phase of the World Cup qualifiers. A statement signed by Mr. Ken Thompson, Chief Operations Officer copied to GNA Sports, said, "The nation expects nothing but a massive win by the Blacks Stars to guarantee them a place in the next round of the qualifiers".

It said the entire nation has absolute confidence in the ability of the team to deliver an excellent performance. The statment added that, "After an exciting experience at the last World Cup in Germany, we are convinced that the nation is not in the mood to miss out on the World Cup in South Africa". "As the first nation south of the Sahara to gain independence from colonial rule, we cannot watch proceedings from the stands and on television sets as the rest of the world gathers to celebrate its greatest sporting passion".

"Victory on Saturday will rekindle the spirit of unity and peace in the nation. You have on countless occasions overcome greater challenges and your ability to pass this crucial test is without doubt. Go and make us proud, the entire nation is behind you" It also called on the entire nation to rally behind the team spiritually and physically to inspire them to victory. The statement also called on members of the technical team to provide the team with skills that will ensure the total annihilation of their opponents from Lesotho. The company is finalising a sponsorship package for the Stars. The Black Stars of Ghana will on Saturday take on Lesotho at the Essipong Stadium near Sekondi in the final qualifying match for the first phase of the 2010 Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) World Cup and Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. 09 Oct. 08
