Charles Amoah was a starter as Sturm Graz missed an opportunity to close the gap on Austrian leaders Tirol when they drew 1-1 at third-placed city rivals Grazer AK at the Schwarzenegger stadium. Charles was substituted in the middle of the second half.
Skelley Adu Tutu came on as a sustitute in the 72nd min for Grazer AK .

Fresh from eliminating Celta Vigo from the Uefa Cup, Slovan Liberec eased past Teplice 4-1. Jiri Stajner did most of the damage with an excellent hat-trick while Petr Lukas added a fourth. Elsewhere, two goals from Tony Vairelles helped Bastia come from behind to beat Lorient in Corsica. The visitors took a 20th minute lead courtesy of their in-form striker Jean-Claude Darcheville. But Bastia drew level when Vairelles scored from the spot in the 51st minute, before going ahead when the former Lens star netted his second four minutes later. Midfielder Michael Essien sealed the win for the home side with a third goal 22 minutes from time.

The Ghanaian international, is only two games from his Champions League half-century after the reigning champions topped their group with a 1-0 win at Sparta Prague last week.

C K Akonnor led Wolfsburg to a convincing 5-0 victory over Numburg, in the clash of the strugglers at VfL stadium. Hans Adu Sarpei also played for 90 mins. Wolfburg have now pulled four points clear of the relegation zone.

Ibrahim Tanko helped SC Freiburg beat Energie Cottbus 3 - 1.

Parma's caretaker coach, Pietro Carmingniani, left Stephen Appiah on the bench, as he got his reign off to a winning start against Perugia. Marco di Vaio put Parma ahead after 20 minutes, Sisis Vryzas equalised on 69 minutes, but Di Vaio struck again in injury time to seal the victory.
