Ghanaian soccer fans disappointed with Cameroon’s performance

APA-Accra (Ghana) Some Ghanaian soccer fans on Monday expressed their anger towards the performance of the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon saying they expected Cameroon, one of Africa’s best teams to put up a good show against Japan, APA learns here.

Mr. Joseph Quaicoo, a security manager, said Cameroon has let Africa down because they failed to utilize the services of their good players who were kept on the bench during the match.

He said Emana and Iddrisu, both Cameroonian players did better than the starting line-up and expressed anger towards the team “for letting us down.”

Magdalene Sey, a female journalist, however told APA that Cameroon played well but lost 1-0 owing to laxity on the part of their defenders who allowed Japan to score the only goal of the match.

She expressed the hope that they will do better in their remaining Group E matches.

Many Ghanaian soccer fans are supporting all the African nations participating in the World Cup and they expect them to well to prove to the world that Africa has something to show in terms of football.
