Ghanaian referees get CAF appointment

Accra, August 9, GNA - The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Ghanaian match officials for next week's CAF Champions League encounter between Tunisian side Etoile Sahel and FAR Rabat of Morocco.

Information gathered by GNA Sports from the headquarters of the continent's soccer controlling body in Cairo, Egypt named FIFA Referee Alex Kotey as the main man to steer affairs from the middle. The 2007 SWAG Best Referee, will be assisted by compatriots Haruna Ayuba and David Laryea.

The match is scheduled for August 18, at the Olympique Stadium in Sousse.

Laryea is making his debut assignment after receiving his FIFA badge this year.
