Ghanaian Player Suffering From Heart Inflammation

Doctors at the Mainzer hospital have placed 23year-old Ghanaian defender, Mohammed Muftawu on a two-week sport ban after it was detected that, the player is suffering from a heart inflammation.

Investigations into the player?s blood supply values revealed that the young player had been lowly supplied with blood to the heart for sometime. Mohammed Muftawu who plays for German Bundesliga two-league club, Mainz 05, had been complaining of sleeplessness for a long time.

According to reports after the blood investigation made by crew physician Dr. Klaus Gerlach, detected that Muftawu was lowly supplied with blood, the physician tightened the heart muscle inflammation.

The precaution taken by the doctors is to avert a similar incident in 1998, which saw the death of German, Axel Juetner from an inflammation of the heart.

Despite bronchitis, Juetner had been participating in training sessions. Muftawu however is under serious monitoring by doctors at the Mainzer hospital to successfully get him back onto the field.

Muftawu Mohammed played for Alhaji Grunsah?s King Faisal during his playing career in Ghana.
