Ghana to play Mexico in FriscoBy

Mexican National Team will play a tune-up match against Ghana on March 1 at Pizza Hut Park in Frisco.

The soccer match will begin at 8 p.m.

Both teams will compete in this summer?s 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany. The Mexican National Team is making its sixth appearance in the Fort Worth-Dallas Metroplex and its first since a 1-0 loss to the United States at the Cotton Bowl in April 2004.

Tickets for this match will go on sale to the general public on Feb. 3 at 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased by calling (888) FCD-GOAL or by visiting www.fcdallas.net. Prices range from $50 to $200.

Mexico was selected as the seeded team in the World Cup?s Group D and will play Angola, Iran and Portugal, while Ghana, making its first trip to the World Cup, will play the Czech Republic, Italy and the United States in Group E.
