Ghana's golden couple - Muntari & Menaye

SULLEY Muntari is in the form of his life at Portsmouth and his scintillating display for Pompey this season is one of the reasons why the south coast club have gone on a ten match unbeaten run. But it seems that is not the only area in his life that is currently making the headlines both in Ghana and the UK.

Adorning the front page of the latest issue of POMPEY LIFE, a new magazine dedicated to bringing to Pompey fans the private lives of the Portsmouth players is Sulley Muntari and his new found sweetheart, Menaye Donkor.

What initially started as a rumour was confirmed when the two lovebirds looked inseparable when Muntari came to Ghana to participate in the Zenith Bank sponsored 4 nation tournament two weeks ago.

Rumours abound that Menaye was introduced to Muntari by Nadia Buari, the Ghanaian screen goddess who is also dating Chelsea midfield star Michael Essien.

The magazine interviewed the duo and spoke to Sulley about his private life and that of football in a no holds barred interview. There is also a new documentary dedicated to Muntari dubbed “SUPER SULLEY” on Pfc TV, the official TV station for Portsmouth Football Club, underlying his new found status as the darling of the Pompey fans as he talks about the need to score more goals for the club.

90 Minutes hopes to bring to you the full interview in POMPEY LIFE in our subsequent editions. Meanwhile Muntari will miss Portsmouth's trip to Aston Villa as he was yellow carded last weekend in the match against Everton for taking a free-kick too early. He nearly registered his name on the score sheet but his free-kick grazed the crossbar.
