Ghana’s Dominic Oduro joins Toronto FC

Ghana international Dominic Oduro has sealed a deal with Toronto FC from Columbus Crew.

The 28-year-old has been capped once by Ghana. He has 46 goals in 228 MLS appearances, including 139 starts.

“To my new team, Toronto hope to help the team move forward. Thanks for every ones love and support,” Oduro tweeted.

“Wanna thank the Crew organization for the opportunity they gave me to play for them. It was a blast but in the end guess it didn't work out.”

Toronto team general manager Tim Bezbatchenko said in a statement: “Dominic is a player that we have had our eye on for quite some time, and we are pleased to finalize this deal and bring him to Toronto FC. “He is a player that has a tremendous amount of speed, and adds a lot to a team's attack.”
