Ghana U20 female team have been drawn in Group C of the 2016 Fifa U20 Women’s World Cup to be staged in Papua New Guinea.

Ghana will battle it out with three-time champions USA, France, who won bronze medal in the previous edition, and New Zealand, who recorded 69 goals altogether against Samoa, Vanuatu, New Caledonia and Tonga en route to qualification.

The Black Princesses will open their account on November 14 against New Zealand before playing France and USA respectively.

Didi Dramani’s ladies qualified for the World Cup after ousting Ethiopia 6-2 on aggregate and he's optimistic of his side's chances.

“Definitely, every group will be difficult but Ghana will do their best as expected,” Dramani told Goal.

“Ghanaians are frightened because we're in a difficult group. However, it gives us another opportunity to prove our worth. From now until November is quite a long time to put pieces together in order to have a successful campaign,” he added.

The tournament will hold from November 13 until December 3, 2016.
