Ghana need a draw against Togo to qualify for AFCON

Ghana need a draw against Togo on Wednesday to seal qualification to the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations finals.

The Black Stars suffered a painful 1-0 defeat on Saturday to Uganda but Guinea’s 4-1 win against Togo in Lome has thrown the Group wide open.

Maxwell Konadu’s side top pool with 8 points; one more than Uganda and Guinea and two more than the Hawks.

Ghana will touch down in Accra on Sunday and will move to Tamale, the venue for the match, the next day.

The four-time continental champions are seeking 20th appearance in the Nations Cup finals which will be hosted by Equatorial Guinea.
