Ghana league title is not my focus - Michael Osei

Head coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Michael Osei, has told Starr Sports his major task is not to clinch the Ghana Premier League title for now.

The interim head coach after taking over from David Duncan has recorded some impressive wins with the shocking one being the win over Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Osei is poised in winning game after game and wants to concentrate on his new role.

“I am not thinking of winning the league right now. I just want the team to pick its good form. So for the league title, I have not thought of it at all. However, I am focusing on team build up,” he told Starr Sports.

Kotoko currently are placed 5th with 17 points after 11 matches in the elite league.
