Ghana could face sworn-rivals Nigeria and Cameroun in a tough 2018 World Cup qualifying group.

The draw for the World Cup qualifiers will be staged in Cairo on 24 June 24.

The Black Stars are in Pot 1 alongside Algeria, Cote d’Ivoire, Senegal and Egypt meaning these top teams would avoid each other.

Pot 2 consists of Tunisia, Cape Verde, DR Congo, Guinea and Cameroun.

Nigeria, Congo Brazzaville, Morocco, Mali and South Africa are in Pot 3

The 20 teams for the draw will be divided into five groups of four teams with the winners of each group qualifying for the finals in Russia.

Ghana will be seeking a fourth successive World Cup berth after featured in 2006, 2010 and 2014 editions.
