Interim coach of the Black Princesses Mas-Ud Dramani believes that the time is rife for Ghana to take over women’s football in Africa.

The Black Queens are still basking in the glory of their success in the just ended All Africa Games where they beat Cameroon to clinch a historic gold medal.

Cameroon have emerged as the biggest force on the continent – taking over from Nigeria.

And Didi Dramani believes Ghana can now go on to dominate Africa having beaten Cameroon at the All Africa Games.

“It used to be Nigeria ruling women’s football in Africa then Cameroon took over,” he said.

“Now, we have started beating Cameroon, which means the time has come for Ghana to also take over.”

The Ghana U20 women’s are on track to qualifying for yet another World Cup finals with a 1-0 away win over Equatorial Guinea over the weekend.
