"Ghana can be the world champion"

The head coach of the National Team of Ghana, Emmanuel Afranie, is certain that his squad have come to the FIFA World Youth Championship Argentina 2001 with their mind set on being champions. “When we first arrived at the country, I knew that Argentina and Ghana would be playing the final match, they are the best teams of the tournament,” the coach remark before leaving the city of C?rdoba in order to travel to Buenos Aires to play the final match against the home team.

The players as well as the remaining members of the team are feeling confident about the match that will be held on Sunday at the Jos? Amalfitani stadium, where their National Team will confront Argentina, at 3:45 pm (local time) in search of the title.

However, Afranie knows they will be confronting a team that will be cheered by their people and that have 24 goals to their credit in this Tournament: “Argentina is a football power in the international stage, they are very strong in attack and thus deserve our respect. But we can beat them,” the squad of the African team finally remarked, following his team’s 2-0 win over Egypt in the semi-final held in C?rdoba.
