Ghana Starlet linked with AEK Athens move

Ghanaian youth international, Eric Opoku, could join Greek giants, AEK Athens, if he impresses on trials. If his stay is successful, he could sign a deal worth 300,000 euros. The 16-year-old defender was member of Ghana's Under-17 team that placed fourth at last year's FIFA World Cup in Korea.

Opoku joined King Faisal during the second half of the just concluded ONETOUCH Premier League from lower division side Corners Babies. The youngster's ability of playing in midfield has boosted his chances of justifying his stay at the Athens-based club.

AEK Athens has qualified to play in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League after finishing second in last season's Greek Hellenic League.
