Ghana Sinks Deeper In Latest FIFA Rankings

....Drops 11 places.....
Four times African Champions, the once powerhouse and monarchs of African soccer, Ghana, is gradually sinking into oblivion. The latest Fifa Coca Cola Ranking has depicted a gloomy picture of the situation at hand.

Ghana is ranked 71st in the world, having dropped from the 60th position since December and 55th position since Ben Koufie took over as GFA chairman.

This is the worst Ghana ranking since the process was started in 1991. Ghana has fallen behind soccer minnows like, Mali, Burkina Faso, Thailand, New Zealand, Cuba, Trinidad and Tobago.

Meanwhile, Cameroun maintained the lead as Africa`s best; Eight African countries make the top 50 . Cameroon (12), Senegal (28), Nigeria(29), S. Africa (31), Moroccco (35), Egypt(39),Ttunisia (44). Zimbabwe(50)

Brazil continued to be the overall leader. France managed to push Spain down to third place.
