The quest to expedite the hearing of the case between the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and Kumasi based King Faisal has taken a negative swipe as Her lady-ship Georgina Theodora Wood has ordered the two parties to go back to court.

The GFA sought the attention of the Chief Justice as the fourth highest official in Ghana to intervene in the case which has put the Ghana Premier League on the ice so that the case could be heard expeditiously, but after going through the plea of the two parties Her lady-ship Georgina Theodora Wood told the two parties to go back to the Accra High Court.
According to www.sports24gh.com source, the two parties visited Justice Anthony Yeboah (High Court Judge) only for him to tell them that he was ready with his verdict, but since the two had agreed to see the Chief Justice there's nothing more that he could do.
However, speaking on Asempa fm's fire-for-fire show on Monday afternoon, Alhaji Karim Grunsah confirmed that the two parties met the Chief Justice but Her lady-ship could not grant them the special offer (Expedite Hearing) they requested for.
"It is true that we met the Chief Justice today, but after going through our plea Her lady-ship said she sees no delay with the proceedings so we should go back to the Accra High Court (Cocoa Affairs) to continue with the case," he noted.
The ruling of the case is expected on Thursday, November 14th, 2014 but the verdict may not go in the interest of football since aggrieved person(s) can go further to the Appeals Court.
