GHALCA has not stated position on GFA Chairmanship

The chairman of Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA), Mr. J.Y. Appiah has reacted angrily to media speculations that the association has raised questions about the capabilities of the government nominees for the GFA chairmanship position.

In an exclusive interview with Space Fm this morning, the GHALCA boss stated that the association is not even aware that Dr. Kofi Amoah and Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe have been nominated.

?How can GHALCA state position when it is not aware of the nominees?, he quizzed. He said when the names of the nominees are brought to the notice of the association; a meeting would be convened to take a decision.

On the Ghalca Congress scheduled to take place in the next couple of months, Mr. Appiah said he would not seek for another term notwithstanding pressure on him to contest the elections.
