GHALCA commend stakeholders for successful Top Four Tournament

Accra, Aug. 25, GNA - The Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) has expressed its gratitude to its partners following the success of the Top Four tournament which ended successful on Sunday, August 22, 2010.

The Association thanked its partners, Voltic Ghana Ltd, Rajjo Ghana Ltd,

the Top Four Clubs: Accra Hearts of Oak, Obuasi Ashgold S/C, Kpando Heart of Lions and Aduana Stars,

The others are the Referees Appointments Committee, Ghana Football Association, the officiating Referees, The National Sports Council and the Media for their various roles in ensuring the most Competitive and Successful Top Four

Tournament in the last two years.

Accra Hearts of Oak won the 2010 edition of the Top Four title after they beat Ashgold 2-0 in their final match last Sunday at the Ohene Djan sports stadium, Accra to give them a triumph of a record third title of the competition.

In a press release issued from the National Secretariat of GHALC copied to GNA Sports in Accra in Wednesday, it said "In enjoying our success story, we wish to commend our Partners and most importantly, the thousands of football fans who decided to consume the Top 4 product in a resounding manner".

"You proved that once football clubs deliver what you want, you will return to the stands and we are once again most grateful, it added.
