GHALCA approves four candidates for chairmanship race

The Executive Coumcil of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA), has confirmed the candidature of four to run for the post of a chairman of the association.

GHALCA, with the withdrawal of incumbent, Alhaji Ali Raji would have a new head at helm of affairs.
Obuasi Ashantigold SC chief executive officer, Kudjoe Fianoo, MTN FA Cup vice chairman, Kofi Poku, Oduro Safo and current vice chairman, Isaac Koomson make up the list of four vying for the seat.

The four went through the rigorous vetting process of meeting the election committee to propagate their ideologies and plans for the body.

Alex Ackumey of New Edubiase goes unopposed for the vice-chairman position as well George Amoako (Kumasi Asante Kotoko) for the treasure position.

For the two premier league representatives, John Ansah (WAFA) and George Ofosuhene Peprah (Dwarfs) go unopposed as well.

The division One and Two representative slots is contested unopposed as well by Otuo Acheampong Barimah Boadaa (Asokwa Deportivo) and Samuel Aboabire (Greater Accra) respectively.

GHALCA goes to the poll on April 21 and swear into office now executives on April 28, 2016.
