GHALCA appoint officials

Accra, Aug 3, GNA - Referee Joseph Machartey has been appointed by the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) to officiate in the special knockout game involving Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Tano Bofoakwa billed for the Kumasi Sports Stadium on Wednesday. M. D Arthur and Abass Gyimah would assist the Cape Coast-based referee on lines one and two respectively whilst Mr Apam Darko will be the match commissioner.

Referee Musa Plato of Kumasi is expected to take the centre stage when Brong Ahafo United and premier league debutants; Real Sportive lock horns at the Sunyani Coronation Park. He is to be assisted by John Okrah and Osei Agyemang on the lines, with Asante Boateng as the match commissioner. Joseph Lamptey of Accra will be in the middle when Power FC welcomes Okwawu United to the El-Wak Stadium with David Laryea and David Agyin assisting from the lines.

When Coca Cola Top Four Champions, King Faisal trek to Sekondi as guest of Hasaacas, Tema-based P. K Azizah would control the game with Prince Worgba and J .A. Bortey assisting him on the lines. Feyenoord and Accra Great Olympics would clash at Cape Coast with referee Joe Debrah to be in the middle to be assisted on the lines by S. C Baidoo and George Barlow. At the Bolgatanga Park, referee J. H. Quarshie has been appointed to officiate the duel between RTU and Kpando Heart of Lions with Edward Nkrumah and Asuma Amadu assisting him on the lines.
