Chairman of the Black Satellites Management Committee, Wilfred Osei Kweku Palmer has promised some massive changes to the development of Juvenile football.

Speaking exclusively to Sportscrusader.com at the FA extraordinary congress held in Tamale this week, the CEO of Tema Youth said, “We (GFA) are going to start our developmental plans from the grassroots. Football will be brought to the door steps of Ghanaians and that will give us a clearer picture of the game. We will build a solid foundation at the colts and juvenile football with the experienced members from the colt’s league”

The Black Satellites management committee chairman then explained the transition plan for the various national teams.

“The under 17 team will be allowed to grow into the Under 20 and this will give us a solid team to work with. The core of the players in the next Under 17 teams would have played together at the U-17 level and this will give them the needed telepathy we so much crave for. When the transition is done as gradually as possible, then we will have a solid team. We are now looking at transition as a team and we believe that will improve not only the junior teams but the senior side as well, if the plan succeeds”.
