GFA set to confirm Super Cup date

Footy-ghana.com understands that the Ghana Football Association will today confirm the date for the Super Cup encounter between Premier League Champions Asante Kotoko and FA Cup holders New Edubiase United.

According to our sources, series of meetings have been held by the Premier League Board, the FA Cup Committee and the Events Committee to arrive at a suitable date for the match.

Footy-ghana.com has learnt that September 30 has been proposed as the date for the match, which is most likely to take place at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The date will however be confirmed by close of work today.
