GFA restricts clubs to CAF License A coaches

Footy-ghana.com can confirm that the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has ordered that from the coming Premier League season, all 16 Premier League clubs can only be handled by head coaches who hold the CAF Coaching License A.

According to our sources, GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi, told coaches participating in the second phase of the ongoing CAF License A course in Prampram that no Premier League club would be allowed to have a coach on its bench who does not possess the CAF License A qualification.

Footy-ghana.com has learnt that this edict would be strictly enforced for the coming season, meaning that some of the Premier League clubs would have to hire new head coaches for the coming season.

The second phase of the CAF Coaching License A course finishes on July 30.
