GFA presents Pro-License 'C' certificate to coaches

Accra, July 10, GNA - The Ghana Football Association (GFA) on Friday presented Pro CAF License 'C' certificates to the coaches at the Association's Secretariat, Accra.

The first ever Pro CAF Licensing coach was organized at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence, Pramparm from May 24 to June 7, 2009.

The course organized by the GFA in collaboration with the Confederation of African Football (CAF) is part of efforts by the continent's soccer controlling body towards producing "world class coaches" across Africa.

Kwesi Nyantakyi, GFA President tasked the coaches to regularly upgrade themselves in line with modern trends. He pledged the GFA's commitment to formulate development programme to upgrade and equip coaches in the country. Ben Kouffie, CAF and FIFA Instructor commended the coaches for taking part in the course that puts them in good position to handle the Black Stars in the near future.

Fourty coaches, of the 44 participants were presented with certificates. 10 July 09
